Categories view - blog and tree - switch ?

Hello again,

how and where do I set the categories view type? In categories.php is a variable $view and 3 values for blog-view, tree, cloud.

1.) How can i use and set it for my template? Can i have different views, and switch between them? Or have them linked in the main menu ? Can I pass this view-type# via URL?

2.) Would also be cool to view the categories overview in a lightbox/modal window.

You can change the variable in the file /members/categories.php

The clients asked to develop different category's page. I didn't add the parameter in the settings but you can change it directly in the file.

Thanks, i found those lines.

Its not possible to have both? Or switch between them?

It would be helpful to add an optional parameter to the categories page link, or something similar? Or could you make it more TPL-driven in the future?
