Related items - max amount limit? - Sorting order?

The "RELATED" content keyword is used in details view. It seems, it does not allow any configuration?! How to set max amount of items ?

I expected to find something like the parameters for homepage components.

There are no any min or max limits. The script searches all photo which have similar titles/keywords/descriptions.

You can change the code in the file:
/admin/function/show.php

function show_related_items

Forget about MIN, makes no real sense

I found the MAX value! It is located in "settings" -> "site".

Still one suggestion:
How are related items found and sorted? It seems to show always the SAME items. It would be ideal to have a random display, or an additional link in frontend to "show more related items"... This way, you are able to see the next XX items. The result: Not the same items on each visit.

Are you sure with "random"?!
It seems to show the same items all the time? Or is it a cache issue/feature ?

Yes this is a problem..
there is no cahce or cookie funciotn.. how its called.. dont know..
if it is set random.. maybe it happenes the same image is shown on page 1, 2 and 3... 500.
so one iamge will be displayed 500 times.. this means 500 other images arent shown...
do you know what i mean.. thats really bad..
cmsaccount script is loading random images on every site the user clicks and search for images..

o.k. random order seems to work now. Don´t know why it did not work on my last session

Performance and No Limits:
This might become a really important issue. Is it possible to improve it for a very large amount of items?
