Which payment gateway (credit card) to choose? (and SSL)

There are so many gateways on the list ....

It must accept Visa, and maybe also Mastercard.
And no registration for the buyer, like Paypal.

Does anyone know an gateway with a low montly fee?

Do they all need SSL certificate?

It depends on your country and industry.
All payment gateways accept credit cards.
SSL is necessary only for Paypal PRO. Usually a buyer is redirected for the payment to the gateway site where ssl already exists.
